A warm welcome set the tone for our stay, complemented by a lovely ground floor room with a large queen bed and a beautiful bathroom. Dinner was a standout, with exceptionally good meals, and the breakfast options were satisfying despite the absence of marmalade. The overall experience was delightful, marred only by the repeated lack of marmalade at breakfast, which could have enhanced an otherwise excellent stay.

Consider asking for homemade jam if marmalade isn't available. it complements the toast perfectly with the cozy breakfast setting.

From trying delicious homemade burgers to cozy evenings with local whiskey, everything was fantastic and memorable!

My stay at The Hopetoun in Leadhills was delightful. The warm welcome, charming decor, and generous breakfast made it memorable. the thin toilet paper was a bit disappointing. a lovely experience!

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home immediately. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated, with a delightful ensuite bathroom that felt like a little luxury. The bar had a nice selection of local whiskeys, and the evening meals were both delicious and reasonably priced.

the hopetoun was a lovely stay. the family double room was warm and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. the dining room, with its open fire, created a cozy atmosphere. the food quality was great, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. there was ample parking, and guests also enjoyed the karaoke amenities.

Had a cozy stay with a delightful basket of snacks and cuddly treats for our dog. The place has a lovely garden area to relax in and a games room that was perfect for unwinding after a long day. Only downside was the car charger was out of order, but the owner helped me out with my EV, which was super kind! 🐾

The staff's hospitality truly stood out—they were attentive to all our needs. Our dogs received special treatment. it was a delightful surprise to see them pampered with treats and a welcome basket.

Although the atmosphere was welcoming, the bar area felt slightly cramped during peak hours.

Karaoke added fun during our stay. Dogs treated like royalty. The mattress felt a bit unstable.
